Kings Point Music Makers (KPMM)
​Education Fund

The Kings Point Music Makers Club (KPMM) is a sanctioned club in the Kings Point community with over one hundred and forty members. One of KPMM’s primary goals is to raise money to benefit local schools and organizations that promote music education for youth. Music programs are often underfunded, depriving children of the equipment and experiences that would enhance their music education and appreciation. Studies consistently show that music education offers significant cognitive, academic, and social-emotional benefits, to name a few. Grant requests could include  a need for musical equipment, clothing or uniforms for groups or bands or funds to offset the costs of performing trips for bands or other musical groups

​In 2026, KPMM donated $9300 to four local schools. 

2026 Educational Fund Recipients

Wimauma Elementary School
Wimauma, FL

Wimauma Elementary School received $1400 to purchase a drum kit and percussion instruments to enhance their music program.

Doby Elementary School

Beth Shields Middle School utilized their $1200 grant to support an orchestra field trip to participate in Bush Gardens’ music program, offering their students a valuable experience. ​

Riverview, FL

Pepin Academies, a tuition-free, non-profit public charter schools in Tampa Bay specializing in education for students with learning and learning-related disabilities in grades 3-12, received $3300 to purchase specialized instruments for their music program
